Here is a band that knows exactly what it wants to say. I had been a huge fan of God’s Pee (humorously interchangeable name) since my teens without fully realizing it, but their music took hold of me not long after. They have been rebellious since their inception, and this album continues that streak.
I initially heard this album through bootlegs (blessings to whomever did an excellent job recording the music at their shows) and I knew we were in for a blast to the spirit.
The title of the album speaks for itself - the horrific genocide in Palestine that has been happening for so long and now continues to this day with a much larger number of deaths than mentioned in the title.
That being said, the music reflects the title with an aching beauty. Hope intertwined with despair. Horrors witnessed with an urging for action. Tears felt and passion for change.
They want us to hang on, to come together, take a side. I feel that with this music to my core. I highly recommend this work of art, let it shred your soul.
